The Admin in the Basement
A comedy heavy metal concept album about the basement sysadmin, office chaos, failing servers, and the unseen worker keeping the whole company alive in secret.
Modern myth comedy
Code, Chaos & Coffee is a rock and metal parody series about software-company madness, broken systems, absurd meetings, and heroic IT crews in crisis.

Code, Chaos & Coffee is a rock and metal parody series set inside Infinite Loop Solutions, a software company held together by exhausted employees, undocumented systems, emergency coffee and an alarming number of temporary fixes.
Across five main albums and several companion stories, the series transforms everyday life in IT into an exaggerated corporate rock opera. System administrators guard forgotten servers beneath the office. SRE engineers answer production alerts in the middle of the night. Helpdesk workers battle impossible support tickets, while developers, testers and Scrum Masters attempt to survive shifting priorities, broken releases and meetings about other meetings.
Every album focuses on a different corner of the company. Stories range from ransomware attacks and disastrous cloud migrations to legacy systems that nobody dares to switch off. There are romantic merge conflicts, compliance audits, aggressive software vendors and a dangerously undertrained intern with administrator access to production.
The comedy is driven by familiar workplace frustrations, technical disasters and absurd management decisions. Beneath the parody, however, the series also celebrates the people who quietly keep modern companies running. Its administrators, support agents, developers, QA engineers and operations teams are rarely treated as corporate heroes, yet they repeatedly save Infinite Loop Solutions from problems created far above their pay grade.
Musically, the series moves between hard rock, heavy metal, progressive metal, punk rock, industrial metal, gothic metal and melodic arena rock. Each album adapts its sound to its department and central catastrophe while remaining part of the same interconnected universe.
With recurring characters, escalating disasters and countless IT-related running jokes, Code, Chaos & Coffee is a musical tribute to everyone who has ever received a ticket marked “urgent,” joined a pointless meeting or heard the immortal sentence: “It worked yesterday.”
